The BCS IT and Digital Apprenticeship (ITA) Awards 2024 acknowledge the talents and achievements of apprentices, T Level students and bootcamp learners from across the UK in all digital disciplines and are open to anyone of any age who fall into one of these categories.
Nominations are welcome from employers, training providers and apprentices who are currently in or who have successfully completed from Jan 2023 onwards, a digital apprenticeship; T-Level or bootcamp programme and who are making a positive contribution in their careers, to their profession and the wider community.
The BCS ITA Awards 2024 is hosted by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT
2024 Award categories
Digital Apprentice of the Year Award
- AI Apprentice of the Year, supported by The Association of Employment Learning Providers (AELP)
- Business Analyst Apprentice of the Year
- Cyber Apprentice of the Year
- Data Apprentice of the Year
- DevOps Apprentice of the Year
- Digital Degree Apprentice of the Year
- Digital Marketer Apprentice of the Year
- IT Infrastructure, Networks & Support Apprentice of the Year
- Software Developer Apprentice of the Year
- Software Tester Apprentice of the Year
Entries must align to the apprenticeship standard the apprentice is currently on or has taken.
Nominators must name the apprenticeship standard/level the apprentice is on or has completed.

2024 Celebrations
Join us for an afternoon of celebration on Thursday 27 June 2024, at the Factory Works, Digbeth, Birmingham, with our host Rob Bell, TV presenter, engineer and stem ambassador.
Shortlisted finalists will be invited for them and a guest to attend with two complimentary tickets. Paid for tickets will be made available for other guests when finalists are announced.
