Terms and Conditions

  1. The Awards are open to organisations that have a substantial base in the UK, or where the product or service is marketed within the UK. For individual entries, people should work for a substantial portion of their time in the UK.
  2. All material submitted will remain strictly confidential to the judges.
  3. Descriptions of submissions from winners and finalists will be published in connection with the Awards. Entrants may, however, mark certain sensitive parts of their entry 'not for publication'.
  4. Entries may be withdrawn upon written request.
  5. Shortlisted finalists will be asked to attend an informal online 30 min discussion with our judges to discuss their entry.
  6. Shortlisted finalists can be accompanied by a named person for moral support.
  7. The judges reserve the right to amend category selections where appropriate.
  8. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entry not accompanied by the appropriate supporting documentation.
  9. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into before or after the judging, unfortunately it is not possible to provide feedback.
  10. BCS is not liable for any costs incurred by applicants in the evaluation and judging process.
  11. Entries not made through the online submission system will not be accepted.
  12. Entries must be completed and submitted to be accepted.
  13. The winners, highly commended and special recognition of each category will be announced at the presentation of the awards; under no circumstances will the details be disclosed before that time.
  14. Entries received after the final closing date will not be accepted.
  15. Apprentice entrants can be entered into the Professional Development and Career Progression categories. To apply please complete the additional fields on the entry form and tick the box.
  16. Each finalist will be given a complimentary ticket for themselves and a guest to attend the awards presentation afternoon at the Factory Works, Birmingham.
  17. Additional tickets for the afternoon awards presentation will be available to purchase (details coming soon)
  18. Each overall winner of an apprenticeship category will be entered into the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards 2024, for free as part of their prize
