What to look forward to at our 2025 regal-themed celebration!

Join us on Friday 27 June 2025, at The Castle Hotel, Windsor, where we’ll be celebrating not just the finalists of the IT and Digital Apprenticeship Awards but also the 40th anniversary of the BCS Royal Charter.

Expect an afternoon filled with great company, good food, and the chance to connect and celebrate with the tech industry’s leading lights of the future!

Schedule:

  • 12:15 PM: arrival and drinks reception
  • Mid-afternoon: fork buffet, with exclusive access to the beautiful garden terrace
  • 4:00–4:30 PM: event close

Dress code: smart and authentic — dress up for this special occasion!

Shortlisted finalists will receive two free tickets for them and a guest, which include a welcome drink and a delicious fork buffet lunch. Other drinks and snacks will be available to buy from the bar throughout the afternoon.

How to Get to the Castle Hotel Windsor:

By Train: There are two train stations near the hotel, with frequent services from Slough, which is just a short journey away. Direct trains also run into Windsor from London, making it easily accessible. The Castle Hotel is only a few minutes' walk from Windsor train station, located on the high street, directly opposite Windsor Castle.

By Car: If you are driving, please book a parking space in advance, especially during the summer months when tourism is at its peak. The hotel has limited parking spots reserved for residents, so early booking is recommended.

Hotel Accommodation: The Castle Hotel offers discounted room rates for event attendees. If you're planning to attend the event in the afternoon on a Friday, you may want to make a weekend out of it.
