The awards in these categories will be judged against the following four criteria:

  1. Professionalism: how the apprentice has consistently met or exceeded their objectives and shown a quality approach in both their work and learning, demonstrating professional values and working practices. 
  2. Innovation and adding value: how the apprentice has used innovative approaches as part of their apprenticeship both at work and in their learning. The action(s) taken by the apprentice to make things better.
  3. Role model: what actions the apprentice has taken that stand out and positively influences those they are working and/or learning with. The apprentice has gone above and beyond to be a role model for their profession and digital apprenticeships.
  4. Measurable success: how the apprentice has delivered at least one quantifiable benefit to their organisation in the past 12 months and can demonstrate how their personal development has the potential to positively impact their profession in the future.

Please complete by 11 April 2026 to enter the Digital T Level Student of the Year Award Category.

Nominations are welcome from employers, training providers, colleges, or directly from T Level students. We recommend that the student has some digital work experience with an employer.

The award in this category will be judged against three criteria:

  1. Learning and development: the student has consistently met or exceeded their learning and development objectives.
  2. Role Model: the student collaborates and takes actions that positively influence those they are working and learning with, whether in the classroom, in small groups or on a placement.
  3. Approach to work: the student shows commitment to developing their professional and employability skills in addition to their technical knowledge and skills.

    Has made a real measurable difference to apprentices’ growth, skills, and success."
